About Dr. Tyre

Raised in beautiful Newport Beach, California, Dr. Kaitlin Tyre (pronounced “tire”) completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester in New York, earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics. After graduating and navigating her own personal health journey, she discovered naturopathic medicine and felt drawn to its natural modalities and whole-person approach to care. She later attended the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, where she received her naturopathic medical training and degree.

After running a private practice for several years and supporting patients with gut, hormone, skin, and mental health concerns, Dr. Tyre joined Precision Analytical—the makers of the DUTCH hormone test—as a clinical educator, a role she continues today. Working closely with clinicians and advanced hormone testing has deepened her expertise in hormone-related conditions and how they present in clinical practice. This experience ultimately inspired her to devote half of her practice to helping patients navigate disruptive menstrual cycle concerns. Dr. Tyre also completed professional training with Dr. Julie Greenberg of Root Cause Dermatology® to further develop her skills in helping patients with common but often frustrating skin conditions such as adult acne. Dr. Tyre works primarily with adults and enjoys partnering with patients to support their health through functional labs testing, lifestyle counseling, nutrition, botanical medicine, and stress management strategies. She cares deeply about the work she does and is known among her patients for being a thoughtful listener and compassionate and effective healthcare provider.
